Dr Death: a medical malpractice murder mystery

I started listening to this a few days ago and listened to it in all one go. It is very interesting but also very sad and crazy. The story follows a neurosurgeon who doesn’t know what he is doing to such an extent that he has left people paralysed and injured but denies everything. Here’s the kicker – he still thinks he is a good neurosurgeon.

If you haven’t checked out Dirty John, listen to that as well. It is by the same group, Wondery.

Getting Curious: a weekly exploration of interesting topics from experts in their respective fields

getting curious podcastJonathan Van Ness from Queer Eye chats to experts about anything he is curious about. His humour and personality really come through and the different guests really pick up on this.

I started this series by listening to his interview with Justin Theroux, but you can start with any that pique your interest as there are so many different topics with very interesting people.

Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard – great interviews with famous people

Dax Shepard wants to find out what makes people great and what they had to go through to get there. He has interviewed some awesome people, including David Sedaris, Jason Bateman and Mila Kunis, and they will make you laugh out loud while at the same time bring on some introspection.
