Despite coming off the back of two long weekends, I’m still desperately in need of a break. I’ve had a busy couple of weeks and have not touched sides. It dawned on me that mother’s day is coming up on 10 May. Last year I did a list of 5 gadget gift ideas under R1000 that made perfect gifts for your mom. I haven’t had time to trawl through online sites to help you shop this year and to be honest, I don’t have to, because I think I’ve found a pretty sweet deal.
Nescafé is running a special on their Dolce Gusto machine leading up to Mother’s Day. It kicked off on 24 April and ends 10 May. The just of it? You can get R500 off the usual selling price if you buy the coffee machine before mother’s day.
The Dolce Gusto machines are rather straight forward to use so even the least tech savvy mom should be able to get her coffee or tea or hot chocolate just as she likes it without much instruction manual skimming. Lots of drink options and flavours are on offer with this gadget gift and you can choose from different designs, meaning you can make sure it matches mom’s kitchen.
Mother’s day sorted! If you hate going in store you can buy the Nescafé Dolce Gusto online at Takealot or you can pop into a Game, Makro, Checkers or Pick n Pay.
Disclaimer:No one paid me for this post. I realise it is a punt of a particular product but as a lover of hot beverages I thought this was a rather clever gadget gift idea, especially considering the discount.
I usually send out a weekly mailer with a recap of blog posts but also some personal anecdotes. If you want to know about competitions or just catch up in a more personal setting then you might like to receive the mailer.
