Hello. I’m Sam “Tech Girl” Wright, I mainly work in esports so you’ve likely seen me desk hosting Counter-Strike events. I was one of the hosts for the Blast TV Paris Major, I’ve worked as an interviewer for ESL Challenger and you’ve probably also seen me desk host and interview for various PUBG competitions. I’ve done a lot of esports stuff. I also host a podcast about gaming and Esports called Tech Girl Talks and sometimes I add things to this blog. 🌟 Last week, I had the incredible opportunity t 🌟 Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to be in London for the first-ever Wimbledon eChamps 2024! 🎾✨ Hosted at the iconic All England Lawn Tennis Club, this groundbreaking tennis esports tournament featured players from Europe and North America serving it out on TopSpin 2K25. 🕹️ The competition was fierce, with matches taking place just metres away from the legendary Centre Court in the new Wimbledon media centre. The champion walked away with a gold-plated PlayStation 5, engraved by the same artisans who craft the real Wimbledon trophy, and an all-expenses-paid trip to the 2025 Gentlemen’s Singles Final! 🏆🎮 Being part of this broadcast at such a historic venue was a dream come true. I’ve accepted I’m going to be the woman who is I’ve accepted I’m going to be the woman who is a little “boring” on the IG feed. I’m not going to have my bum or boobs out. I’m never going to be the uwu girl or the “baddie”. I’m always going to look a little awkward posing for photos. It might be hard to believe but I really am rather insecure about about my body. We all are, right? Years of being the obese fat kid isn’t something you get out of your head. But this photo? Even with the little roll because I was leaning with my hip out... this photo is one of my favs. I think it is because @vexanie captured exactly how I was feeling. @magdalenalongartistry hair and makeup had made me feel so pretty. She made me look naturally glamourous and bright eyed. I say this a lot but the fit and feel of the @skulpt_usa bodysuits make me feel good. I’m not tugging and pulling and trying to cover myself overtly with cue cards. I feel comfortable and trust they fit well. This photo? It reminds me of a day I felt like I could slay dragons. Of a day where I felt beautiful in my own skin. So I’m sharing it here. To remind me on the days where I’m wearing baggy shirts because I want to hide myself, that I’m not as hideous as the ugly voices in my head try tell me. Overshare of note. But F*ck it. Women go through the most, we need to own that trauma 😂

Despite that I really love this episode of SELL ME THIS PRO where we don’t sell you a pro but just recap the European RMR Closed Qualifiers for the Shanghai Major. I think we did a good job at crafting this story and showcasing the soap opera which is tier 2 CS 😂

I just like playing games. And I’ve been playing this one. Not as much as I’d like but a bit. It was a little escape during a trying week. Here’s what I like: The little companion Nix reminds me of my dog Chio and I dig him. It’s so damn pretty & makes me feel like I’m in the Star Wars universe. I do love being a scoundrel. FLYING TRAILBLAZER (the space ship) OMG YES PLEASE. What I’m a bit meh about: It’s grindy & a bit monotonous with some stuff. In fact, not enough action, way too much grindy quest stuff. I’d liken it a bit to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. There’s a story but you’re spending a lot of time on side quests.... but in Star Wars. So that’s rad. It’s an escape. It’s fun. Playing this game makes me happy. I’m nowhere near finished. This is my not a game reviewer feedback on #StarwarsOutlaws - thanks for reading!
