Is the Logitech G product I want in South Africa?

I’m partnered with Logitech G in South Africa which means a lot of the time people reach out to ask me where they can find certain products or if I know if something is available in the country. There are specific products that I get asked about a lot so I figured I’d do this piece to tell you what you can get locally (right now, August 2021) to make your life a little easier. I’m focusing on the products I get asked about a lot, but if you have another product you’re looking for let me know in the comments and I’ll try help!

Logitech G Pro X Wireless Headset

As of right now the Wireless Headset is not available in South Africa. But it isn’t all doom and gloom. The Logitech G Pro X Wired Headset is in South Africa and there is stock at all the major retailers. I’ve primarily used the Wired version (only recently swopping over to wireless) and to be honest, other than not being able to go to the fridge with your headset on you’re not going to be too effected by the wires. There are two cords in the box and they’re both fantastic quality and long enough to not get in the way of your gaming or broadcast needs. Grab the wired version if you can. This is my go to headset and I can’t recommend it enough.

The Logitech G G915 Keyboard

If you’ve been searching for the low profile G915 you might have come up short because this wireless keyboard isn’t in the country BUT I’ve got a clever hack for you – you can still get what you’re looking for. The Logitech G G815 LIGHTSYNC RGB mechanical gaming keyboard IS in South Africa. Same low profile and all the rad features of the G915, it just isn’t wireless. The bonus? You don’t need to worry about every charging your keyboard because it is plugged in and ready to go whenever you are. All three options for the G815 are available, so whether you want Linear, Tactile or Clicky – the G815 options are in the country and at most of the major retailers.

The G733 in all the colours

The Logitech G G733 Wireless RGB Gaming headset is such a rad device. I’ve done a YouTube video on it before that you can check out here. You’ve likely seen the multitude of colours online and funky head bands available. I can confirm that there are two colour options available locally for the G733 – you can get the headset in either black or white. You can then change out the RGB lighting to suit your favourite aesthetic.

Some other rad products currently in South Africa

The OG G502 mouse is available both wired and wireless. The entire PRO range is covered if you’re looking for one of those items. Also, the most recent landing is the G333s which are super in ears for mobile gaming or your Switch. The G560 PC Gaming Speakers are also available locally.
