There are a lot more on the blog but those are some of my favourites. I love the console and, most importantly, I love that I can take it anywhere and play. That’s why the Switch is such a rad little device. It is powerful, the games are top class AND it is portable. Being able to travel with it makes all the difference.
Though, saying that, I’ve been banned from taking it out to dinner. Apparently I need to be more social and DOOM is distracting to people joining us. Pssht.
I’m not the only one who loves taking my Switch to weird and wonderful places. Turns out there is a community of folks who love carrying the console with them and playing on it in the strangest locations. To celebrate the creativity and fun, Nintendo has joined the party with their new #GoWithSwitch campaign – which aims to celebrate the awesomeness of gaming wherever you are. They’re collecting photos of fans from around the world who play on the console in weird and sometimes wacky locations. But they’re also inviting you to join in the fun!
You can enter the #GoWithSwitch competition with or without a Switch
The best part? You don’t need the console to take part (but it helps if you do). All you need to do is post an image of you playing on your Switch in a weird location OR post a picture of where you would play your Switch if you had one. Make sure to use the hashtag #GoWithSwitch and the best location stands the chance to win a R50 000 dream trip to a destination of their choice. How rad?
