I’m so obsessed with like cute little additions for your gadgets. From phone covers to smart watch bands, I’m the queen of adding in all the funk and fun. So when I found out about these cute little offerings from a South African lady looking to earn extra income, I was hooked. Not only is someone working on building a small business BUT they’re so damn cute and can add a little sparkle to your smart watch or even a normal watch band if you’d prefer.

Lauren Baw has started a little business, called Sterling Tungsten, where she sells cute watch charms. The charms have a little disc like backing which allows you to fit them on your watch band. I was a bit worried because I use a Fitbit Versa 3 on most days and the strap holes aren’t perfectly round but rather elongated, but the charms worked perfectly with the traditional Fitbit bands. They sit nice and securely. My friend used some as well and we spent a day on the beach. She was running around, dipping her toes in the ocean and didn’t lose a charm.
Currently there are two charms on offer – a little paw print with a small sparkle added and a butterfly. The charms are available in Silver, Gold and Rose Gold finishes. So far, the ones I’ve been using haven’t faded or chipped. You can put them on your straps and remove them easily as well if you want to go to gym or change up the style a bit.
