Aspiring game developers TAKE NOTE! Free Lives has announced SA GAME JAM 2021 which will be taking place virtually, on Itch, from 22 to 24 October 2021.
SA GAME JAM 2021 was created to encourage more South Africans to make games… basically. Game devs of ALL levels are eligible to enter the competition.
You can enter as an individual or team.
You’re allowed to use whatever tools you like and use pre-existing code/sounds/art/assets where it helps you. However, if you use assets you are required to disclose them.
Oh, and there is more than R50 000 cash up for grabs to those entering, so like, that’s rather rad.
