3 New Nintendo Switch Games you can play

My Nintendo Switch goes everywhere with me. It had pride of place on my desk. I’ve waxed lyrical about this little console since it arrived on the scene. Though, I’ve not been showing it as much love as I should the last few months. There are so many new games, toys and consoles coming that my focus has been elsewhere. But this past weekend I spend some quality time with my Switch and there are a few fun games currently available for it that you’ll love. So I’m sharing them today.

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit

When my brother and I were kids he had this giant Scalextric set. He’d got his own small set but then a friend’s son gave him a giant box of extra track. We actually didn’t have the space to lay it all out in the lounge. We’d build throughout two or three rooms and play for the weekend. Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit reminds me so much of this. Using AI you lay out a course in your house and can use real world objects within it. Then you control the little physical race cars via the console. So it’s like Scalextric but just SO MUCH COOLER. I haven’t had a chance to try it yet, but I’m kind of obsessed. It’s a pricey game – R1999, but how freaking awesome does that look?

Super Mario 3D All-Stars

This has become my go to favourite time waster these days. The picture used in the header of this post? I was busy playing this game on my Switch. 3D All Stars is actually 3 games in one. You get Super Mario 64, Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy. It’s a chance to relive some of your favourite Mario moments. These games are classic so having them all together is just tons of fun. They don’t age and they’re still as wonderful as ever.

Kirby Fighters 2

My third and final game on the list for you to play on your Switch is Kirby Fighters 2. I only ever play as Kirby when I’m jamming Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and now I can just jam with Kirby ALWAYS. It’s a fighting game where your only option is to play as Kirby. I’m not complaining. You have 17 abilities you can copy from utilising swords to giant hammers. It’s cute, it’s silly and it’s fun. Perfect little time waster when you’re on a road trip or waiting somewhere for something to happen. Did I mention how damn cute Kirby is as well?

Got any other games you think I should be playing on the Switch? Let me know in the comments or on my social channels so I can check them out.
