I’ve written so much about Thabo the last few months that I feel properly invested in his career now. I shared the emotional journey I’ve had with him a few weeks ago:
It has been a rollercoaster following Thabo’s journey. Today, I woke up feeling especially down. My heart was heavy and stress of the world was weighing hard, which meant when I got the call that Thabo has been asked to join eBafana Bafana for the FIFA eNations Stay n Play Cup it was the instant boost I needed. This really is such fantastic news for the young player.
I had the chance to interview Thabo about this incredible opportunity that he will be taking part in this week – looking at how it will impact his life and what it means to him. I’ve included a link to that Red Bull interview below (you can click the picture to be taken to the piece). If you’re also a FIFA fan I did a piece a few weeks ago about all the local online tournaments happening in South Africa that you can take part in. You can read that piece on Red Bull as well if you click here.
