Supporting the Next Generation of Women Tech Leaders – CT Tech Girls get your bums to this one!

This is SO rad. On 29 January from 17:30 to 20:30 Silicon Cape will be hosting the TechWomen Networking Event themed “Supporting the Next Generation of Women Tech Leaders”. Entrance is free and you’ll have a chance to listen to some of the best female tech minds around.

Speakers include the TechWomen Program Director, Arezoo Miot, GM Special Projects, Technology Innovation Agency, Dr Magaret Mkhosi, Deputy Minister, Dept. of Telecommunication and Postal Services, Prof Mkhize and the Vice President of Engineering, Twitter, Nandini Ramani. Furthermore, the TechWomen Delegation consists of mentors from Silicon Valley and emerging leaders from Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Palestinian Territories, Tunisia, Yemen, and Zimbabwe.

TechWomen is a rad initiative that aims to connect, empower and support the next generation of women leaders in science, technology, engineering and mathematics from Africa, Central Asia and the Middle East. I think it is fantastic that they’re sharing knowledge for FREE and not charging. If I didn’t live in Johannesburg I’d be front and centre.
