In my podcast series, Tech Girl Talks, I dropped the first part of a two part episode which specifically focused on esports sponsorships. In part 1 I spoke to Tim Ashton, the Global Esports Account Manager for Steelseries. This meant we covered the brand requirements for sponsorships and partnerships of esports tournaments and teams. For Part 2 I wanted to talk to a tournament organiser and find out what a successful partnership offering looked like… so that’s what I did!
If you missed Part 1 you can find it here:
Landing an Esports Sponsorship – Part 2
In part 2 of Landing an Esports sponsorship the podcast investigates the offering put forward by tournament organisers to brands looking to enter the space. I’m incredibly excited about this one because I have insight from Farrell Sweeney, who is the Director of Partner Management at ESL.
I got the opportunity to chat to Farrell, who is based in New York. Her insight was invaluable and I think this particular episode will bring a lot of knowledge to those in the industry and fans of esports.
Here are a few things we focus on:
- Esports events and the marketing benefits for big brands
- Nurturing partnerships in the esports space
- Understanding the importance of innovation
