Caption this 😏 I’ve desk hosted, stage hosted, interviewed, analysed and shoutcasted CSGO, FIFA, PUBG & Fortnite LANs over the last 3 months. For the first time since I went full time in esports broadcasting I also set actual goals for myself, which is kind of scary… especially because I’m usually a “fly by the seat of my pants” type of girl. I really want to be the best story teller I can be to ensure the players stories are shared in such a way that fans really feel something strong every time they watch a game. I said I really wanted to push myself this year. Shoutcasting Fortnite at Dreamhack was terrifying. I feel comfortable in no builds but Battle Royale at top level is crazy fast. My casting partner @reisshub held my hand though & even though I was a bit shaky to start I feel like we found a rad groove as we went. Day 2 today and I’m ready! The @dreamhackfn crew is so much fun to work with and being at Dreamhack for the first time is mental. When the esports trophy is bigger than you 😂 Hosting the finals of the @pinnacle.esports Cup Championship was something else. $250 000 prize pool, some incredible CSGO on show & another LAN under my belt. Backstage with @imperialesports ! The nicest team & so friendly to me. Years ago some of these players made people like me, in countries far away, believe that we could compete in CSGO or even work in it (like me) around the world. Meeting them was something special and I wish I could have told them that too 😂 Hopefully I did a good enough job to get invited to work another CS event so I can tell them in person.
