As I get older I’ve become a little obsessed with gorgeous things. A few years back I didn’t own a handbag and my skincare regime consisted of splashing some soap on my face. However, there is a definite shift in my life outlook. When before I was rushing through my day with no concern of how I looked or if my things (like my skin!) were protected, I’ve changed.
It is like I slowed down and finally smelt the roses
In the last few years I’ve become somewhat obsessed with beautiful quality items. I prefer to spend a little extra on something that is gorgeously made because not only does it look good but I also know it will last. I prefer to purchase products that I know will last for a considerable amount of time but also do the job they’re meant to do (be it protecting my skin or my laptop).
Case in point: My gorgeous Knomo laptop bag
I blogged about my laptop bag beauty a few months back. It was a pressie from my brother and mom for my birthday. The quality is incredible and I love it. However, it is a laptop bag so it isn’t ideal when I’m hitting after work drinks with my friends or heading out on a date (who am I kidding… I never go on dates!). Which is why I was absolutely shocked and in awe when the iStore sent me a gift:

As part of their Women’s Day celebrations the iStore gave me a little something special and it has barely left my side since then. The Knomo Elektronista is such a gorgeous bag. It comes in black leather (or sky blue if you prefer) with a magnetic closing. It hangs off the shoulder with a leather strap embellished with gold chains.
It looks chic and tailored no matter if you’re rocking your Chucks or a more formal look.
The real winner with the Knomo Elektronista is inside though. I’m constantly carrying big bags because I need to transport my essentials as well as a portable charger, relevant cables and usually a few extra gadgets. The Knomo Elektronista has a selection of built in pouches to fit all your bits and pieces. It also includes a little portable phone charger already tucked in. It is so cute and so perfect for a tech girl.
The bag unzips to lay out flat – making it easier to pack and find your small goodies after a night out. It can also fit a 10″ tablet in the back pocket making it absolutely ideal for someone like me who goes out with all the things. Its only downfall was that it didn’t come with an Apple lightening cable. I was lucky enough to have a spare though so could swop out the Android cable it came with and now my iPhone gets all the portable charger juice.

It really is such a great handbag. It looks fashion forward while still feeding my geek needs. I’m obsessed. It is just so incredibly perfect for my needs.
