WordPress 101: How to post, insert images and improve SEO
I get a lot of bloggers asking me about how they go about using WordPress. It can be a rather scary content management system if you aren’t 100% how to use it. Never fear, I’ve prepped a WordPress 101 guide to help you.
I created a two page document on Canva (such a fan of this online design software, it is create for creating funky downloads or editing images. Make sure you try it out!) The WordPress 101 guide gives you some basic tips on how to go about creating posts on WordPress, how to name your images correctly, embedding video, how to insert images and also, most importantly, some SEO basics to get you started – including how to use SEO by Yoast.
I originally designed the document for Bailey Schneider from Vanilla Blonde after she made the jump from blogger to WordPress. I’m hoping it can help a few other people along as well.
Please, if you found this useful and want more blogging tips and tricks, sign up to our weekly newsletter. In the next few weeks I’m planning share exclusive content on the newsletter FIRST before giving access on the blog – so definitely benefits you!
