I was lucky enough to grab an invitation to check out Orange’s new retail store in Claremont, Cape Town (which is officially going to open its doors tomorrow). It’s particularly exciting to us, not only because they have rad gadgets and tech devices, but also because they’re due to launch an ISP in South Africa towards the end of this year. We were excited about the online store that they launched last year, but to have a physical store here in our ‘hood… well that’s the real deal!
What can you expect?
Orange macarons! (Probably not, but aren’t these sweet?)
Seriously, though, apart from the latest gadgets and accessories, the store will also offer click-and-collect facilities, act as a drop-off point for repairs and returns, act as a point of sale for Orange’s Top-Up products and provide customer service for Orange’s travel products. I was particularly intrigued by their current travel products, like their Holiday SIM cards for Europe and the UK – no more stressing about data roaming and making time to buy a local SIM card when travelling, you can just buy it before you go. Love.
