I ponder this most Saturday nights – what if Disney Characters had Instagram? Would they follow me? Would they heart my pictures? Would we become friends in real life?
Yes, 3 of those 4 questions are rather narcissistic but I’m part of the social media generation so questions like this are, obviously, the only ones that cross my mind before I spend the next 5 minutes of my life trying to snap the perfect selfie (try read this all in a tongue in cheek tone… except the 5 minutes thing – it really does take me that long).
Turns out I wasn’t the only one who was wondering about the Disney kids on Instagram. Artist Simona Bonafini has released a series of Disney Characters on Instagram and I’ve enjoyed monitoring her site for new work in the series. Here are some of my favourites. Of course, because it just wasn’t enough to enjoy Simona’s work I took this a step further and started googling. Here’s where the Disney love is shattered.
