word of the year 2021 bytesized

And the 2021 word of the year goes to…

A few weeks ago I accidentally broke my original Griffindor mug. It was a gift from my aunt and it came from Harry Potter World in England. Sure it was probably made in China but that is not the point. Luckily I still have awesome sloth mugs that make me happy. That was until I saw the Le Creuset Harry Potter collab. While there aren’t house mugs, there are locations like Olivanders and Gringotts. Plus awesome signature pots and a Hogwarts Express kettle.

Oxford released its word of the year for 2021 and unlike last year when one word didn’t cut it, this year it is short and sweet.

Facebook Meta is apparently deleting all its facial recognition data.

All this and more in Bytesized.

I'd love to chat to you some more.

I usually send out a weekly mailer with a recap of blog posts but also some personal anecdotes. If you want to know about competitions or just catch up in a more personal setting then you might like to receive the mailer.
