Are you ready to have your mind blown? Everyone has been asking for one thing since the dawn of the email era – for someone to invent a way to ‘unsend’ an email. Well, our futuristic little dreams came true. YES! Gmail has done it!

Want to know how to use the Gmail unsend feature? Here’s how you can should activate the feature:

  1. Go to your Gmail settings

  1. You can select how long you want the delay of your sent email to be. In other words, if you select 10 seconds, Gmail will hold off on sending your email for 10 seconds. That’s how long you’ll have to make a call on your bad judgement. Choose the delay time wisely. In my case, maybe an hour.

Note: if you don’t see the ‘undo send’ option, refresh your page. Remember to go to the bottom of the page and save your changes.

  1. Viola, now you’ll see an ‘undo button’ after you send an email and have up to 30 seconds to change your mind. Uhm, I hope they up that time limit.
