If you’ve spent enough time around the competitive Counter-Strike scene you’ll know that there are a handful of podcasts that compliment the competitive circuit. The latest to join the ranks is B Site Baddies – a new take on the scene with two ladies hosting the action. Sam “Tech Girl” Wright (that’s me), a CS desk host and interviewer, is joining forces with renowned streamer and Ohnepixel interviewer Dona, to bring you something a little bit different.
Why B Site Baddies?
If you’re new here, hi, I’m Sam. I’ve been lucky enough to work some of the biggest CS events in the world, including two Majors, IEM Katowice and IEM Cologne. I already host a few other podcast series focusing in on competitive Counter-Strike but I’ve been looking for a way to do a show with Dona, a CS Twitch streamer and cool cat. Dona is usually on Ohnepixel’s live coverage of events as an interviewer but you’ve probably seen her on broadcast as well. I’ve been a huge fan of her work for awhile now and we’ve been actively trying to find ways to work together more. B site Baddies was buillt from the idea that we wanted a show for the fans, by the fans.
What is B Site Baddies all about?
As I mentioned before, there are a lot of podcasts about competitive CS – so what sets B Site Baddies apart? This podcast is our little corner of the interest to talk CS2 without a broadcast filter. We want to showcase the players, feature game highlights and enjoy the memes together with you, the fans of Counter-Strike. We’re not just another “stats and strats” show though. Sure, we’ll break down the big plays and debate roster changes from time to time, but we’re also here for the stories which don’t always make the headlines. We’ll focus in on weird moments, funny mishaps and the stuff that reminds you this scene is made up of actual humans. We have closer access to the games and players than most and we want to try share that with you – so you can feel more involved in the game you love.
Let’s go!
