Today marks the end of Season 1 of Tech Girl Talks, a podcast series that sort of happened by accident! However, I have great news. After the first season was picked up by Playlyst Studios to be one of their original productions, they’ve renewed the Tech Girl Talks podcast series for a Season 2!
What originally started as a live stream conversation quickly morphed into a podcast series. The live chats were recorded and edited for a host of podcast platforms. Season 1 was a huge success, we even found our way onto the Apple Podcast charts! Wow! So Season 2 is going to be bigger and better. There will be a few changes which I’d like to explain. However, first, take a look at this incredible goodie bag Playlyst sent me to announce they wanted to renew the series for Season 2. All that branded merch… I was BLOWN away.
Right let’s break down Season 2.
Season 2 is going to be a little bit different in that I won’t be recording the live discussions. Each episode will be recorded and released exclusively on the following platforms:
Tech Girl Talks on Apple Podcasts
Tech Girl Talks on Google Play
Tech Girl Talks on radiopublic
I’ll confirm closer to the time when to expect the first episodes of Season 2 to drop but I can confirm that they’ll be made available in October! Each Wednesday an episode will drop on the above platforms. The streams won’t go away entirely, rather they’ll still run on Wednesdays at 1pm but will be a live chat to discuss the podcast episode and allow you to ask questions as well as engage in the topic. But ideally you’ll have to have listened to the podcast to get some background. This will allow for us to have more engagement but also ensure you get the best possible production podcast wise!
If you’ve missed Season 1, now is the perfect time to go catch up so be sure to listen to all the episodes and I hope you’ll enjoy what will be on offer in Season 2. I’m so incredibly excited for Season 2 BUT I also need your help:
What topics would you like to be covered in Season 2?
If you have any suggestions be sure to drop them in the comments or reach out to me on social media. The show focuses on esports and gaming, so if you’re passionate about something be sure to let me know so we can add it to the list of topics to discuss!
