I liked Jurassic Park growing up, but when I met Player 2 I learnt what obsessed looked like. He LOVES the original movie and refuses to hear criticism of anything that came after. After watching it a few times I get it now. I also love how the Jurassic Park franchise sort of seeped into my life. I remember visiting Bali a few year back, my friend hired an open top Jeep and as we were driving down a road with lush greenery everywhere as the rain began he started humming that iconic Jurassic Park tune.

A few weeks ago Reebok announced they’d be dropping a Jurassic Park collection and, the good news, it is here in South Africa! There are a range of different sneakers available that embody the Jurassic Park feel. You’ve got everything from bright coloured kitsch to an All Black stomper and classic Reebok sneaker with floral designs. The entire range of footwear is available in South Africa on the online store.
There are also some clothing items available. From funky floral Ts to the most awesome utility vest that I have absolutely no use for and could never wear anywhere but looks so damn cool.
Prices range from R500 for a T to around R3000 for a pair of the “louder” sneakers. I do love it when the collections come to South Africa and so quickly as well. I also know you’re likely a Jurassic Park fan. I remember streaming one of the games and people having so much fun as my T-Rex caused havoc. The new game is around the corner, I mentioned it here:
