I’ve never been big on Valentine’s Day and it seems like this year a lot of people aren’t. According to Good Things Guy, 69% (hahhaha) of South Africans won’t be getting anything this Valentine’s Day. There seems to be more of a focus on self-love and self-care. And if self-love on Valentine’s means buying myself a gigantic handcrafted sweetie pie and eating it in one sitting (possibly also sharing with my significant other), then so be it.
