It’s Day 42 of lockdown and I’ve turned to binge-reading. I’ve started several books, but if they don’t keep me up late at night wanting to get to the end, they don’t make the cut. I am also rather cheap frugal and recently found eReaderIQ which allows you to find freebies, books under $1 and recent price drops for Kindle books. Because sometimes the Kindle Daily Deals just don’t cut it. Once a month, I usually read a non-fiction book but this year it has been all about the fiction. I really enjoyed Where the Forest Meets the Stars, The Giver, GO and The Light of the Fireflies. And now let’s jump from reading to LEGO.
New Harry Potter LEGO announced
Not sure when these will hit our shores, but they currently are available in the States and the UK. Press play to see what new sets await you. My favourite has to be Hedwig. Prices start from £17.99 – £89.99 which is about R412 – R2062.
This is the current Harry Potter LEGO selection and I have 3 of them. I recently undid all of my Lego and sorted them out so that I could build them during lockdown. Over the weekend I built the Whomping Willow and there is something so therapeutic about it.
How much wealthier is Jeff Bezos then you? A lot.
This website shows you how big a billion really is.
Speaking of eccentric billionaires, if you’re Elon Musk and you name your kid X Æ A-12, of course, the internet will respond
As the great Destiny’s Child once sang, Say my name, say my name, we all wondered how X Æ A-12 was pronounced. According to mom Grimes, it’s X – A – I (like how you would say those letters when saying the alphabet).

I’ve put together a list of some of my favourite newsletters, which you can get here. I’m especially enjoying Morning Brew.
Don’t try this at home
I have no idea how long it took to make this video, but it is awesome. So awesome in fact that Missy Elliot herself shared it in her IG stories.

Catching lockdown feelings
I can’t find that tweet, but it went something like this: What you’re seeing is people realising the myth of certainty. I think about that every day since reading it. It slaps hard.
