Turning yourself into a little mini LEGO creation is relatively easy IF you live near one of the official LEGO store (Hello London and New York) and you have a huge amount of free time available to dig through gazillions of tiny heads while competing with small children attempting to do the same thing.
Or there is another way
This ingenious South Africa online store has launched called Mini Me Memorables. They have more than 1500 inventory pieces available to help you create a little mini you in LEGO. You go on their site, track through the various pieces and are able to mix and match until you find what you’re looking for. They have so many different face, hair and clothing options. There is also a stack of cute accessories you can include. Anything from cellphones and cats to glitter light sabers. Yes, glitter freaking light sabers.
Turn me into LEGO
The Mini Me Memorables store is such a great place for birthday gifts, anniversary presents and even corporate stuff I’m really impressed with the offering and the selection. Also, the stuff isn’t badly priced at all. You have the option to select from all the inventory to turn yourself into LEGO and can then add little stands or magnets to put your creation on the fridge. The various display options are endless. For my figure plus the customised display stand you’d be looking at a cost of R290 which included free delivery. Not too unreasonable. The Mini Me Memorables team also ships world wide so this isn’t a South African exclusive.
Your creation arrives in a cute little Tupperware branded box and you can really see that a huge amount of care goes into the creation and time involved in pulling the pieces, putting your figure together and sending it to you.
Plus you’re supporting local! This really is such a great site and you should go check it out. If you purchase a Mini Me Memorables figure then be sure to post a pic to social media and tag me – would love to see your creations.
Disclosure: I was gifted with my own Mini Me Memorables figure
I'd love to chat to you some more.
I usually send out a weekly mailer with a recap of blog posts but also some personal anecdotes. If you want to know about competitions or just catch up in a more personal setting then you might like to receive the mailer.
