Jobest Bloggers Workshop

I’m talking at the Jobest Bloggers Workshop & you should be there!

Right. For the last two weeks I’ve been galavanting around the world having the best time. My blog has suffered. My YouTube channel hasn’t been updated. But life? It is glorious. I’ve felt joy and love and heartbreak and happiness. I’ve smiled till my cheeks hurt and I’ve cried till my chest ached. It is all very poetic.

I’m not here to tell you about that, I really just wanted to justify my bad blogging habits the last few weeks. I promise, I’ll be back with a vengeance soon. In the mean time, I wanted to tell you about something pretty rad happening on the 13th of November and Nomads & Co. The Jobest Bloggers Workshop will be happening. It is a great Johannesburg meet up that includes some talks, delicious food and then a few workshops to assist creators in launching their careers in the stratosphere. Fancy!

The workshops are as follows:

Workshop 1 – How Webfluential Can Help Grow Your Blog (yes I work there… shhhhh)

Workshop 2 – Photography 101 For Your Blog

Workshop 3- Content, Community and Working with Brands

It is a full day experience that incorporates breakfast, a brief introduction, some talks, lunch and then the workshops. Each workshop allows 14 creators to participate so you can really focus on areas that are important to you and your platforms.

Oh and I’ll be speaking at the event

Jobest Bloggers Workshop

I’m extremely honoured to be kickstarting the Jobest Bloggers Workshop with a quick chat about Tech Girl and how it went from a blog to incorporating other channels and developing in to what it is now. The organisers of this event, Anna Belle from She Said and Angie from Lucky Pony are two women I really look up to and I’m so humbled that they want me to share my adventure. Uno from Between 10 and 5 will also be chatting and sharing how he turned his platforms in to a fully fledged business. I’m in awe of the work Uno creates so it should be a goodie too!

The event starts at 9:00am and finishes at 1pm. Tickets are R500 and include two meals as well as access to the workshops. Should be fun! You can purchase your ticket by clicking here.

Let me know on social media or in the comments below if I’ll be seeing you!

I'd love to chat to you some more.

I usually send out a weekly mailer with a recap of blog posts but also some personal anecdotes. If you want to know about competitions or just catch up in a more personal setting then you might like to receive the mailer.
