The DOOM Beta launched on the weekend to give us all a chance to test out the relaunch of an iconic video game.
I remember my dad playing DOOM when I was a kid. I was terrified of the box the game came in with the demon on the front. It was scary but intriguing at the same time. On 13 May 2016 they’ll be launching the latest DOOM. So expect all the same demon killing but with kick ass graphics, impressive music and a far more immersive experience.
It seemed only fitting that if we were going to play a Classic we needed a classic lady to test it out. So after considerable negotiation my mom agreed to join me in a Let’s Play of the DOOM Beta. Unfortunately, her gaming skills need a bit of tweaking (I’m told she is training like a beast at the moment!) so some of the game footage has been supplemented with a better view of the game (so you can get a feel for it).
