Argh. This is my absolute worst. Have you noticed how Facebook video now just starts playing when you scroll through your timeline? SO annoying. While I like the funny cat video as much as the next sometimes I just don’t want to see it. Also, its bad enough that service providers are allegedly stealing our data. I don’t need Facebook to offer it up to them on a silver platter.
Never fear, here is how to switch the Facebook video autoplay function off. It’s so easy even your boyfriend can do it!
STEP 1: Go to Settings
STEP 2: Click videos (bottom left)
STEP 3: Click “off” on autoplay videos. Easy.
