This is Tech Girl, so if you’re merging gadgets with fashion we’re likely going to love it. It’s our thing. That’s why we really love the new Verssed W1 phone from Edgars…. yup, Edgars. The fashion house has incorporated gadget offerings in to their store for awhile now, but this is the first Windows phone they’ll be selling.
The Verssed W1 is going to cost you R899.
It’s features include a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, a decent sized battery (1420 mAh) and it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor. Running on Windows 8.1 it gives you all the rad stuff your friends with their pricier Lumias have. So access to all the apps, the funky Live Tiles lay out and Senses – which helps you manage storage, data and the battery life.
At that price with those features, you’ll be able to purchase a phone and the pair of heels you’ve been coveting. Can you say winning?
In the last year Microsoft has really upped their smartphone offering. We’re seeing more apps available for the Windows smartphones and with Windows Phone 8.1 updates a far better user experience all round. I wasn’t always a fan but, with these updates and changes, I really enjoy using a Windows Phone. It’s organised, functional and now, extremely affordable as well.
