The Selfie craze has taken over. I’ve heard big serious businessman drop the term in meetings or use it to sell me a phone. I’ve read articles about the psychology behind the new means of capturing moments and, I’m ashamed to admit, had a bit of a giggle at the Selfies at Funerals Tumblr. The thing is, maybe this is getting a bit out of hand. See, selfies are now on toast.
A toaster company in the States has come up with a novel little idea. You send them your favourite selfie and they’ll customise your toaster to toast your image onto your bread. Every time. The toasters themselves are rather cute, white with funky colour accents. But, you’re still going to have your selfie popping up. They’ll set you back about R825 but aren’t available for international shipping just yet.
