Cartoon characters go bald for cancer

I must admit, I didn’t buy into the whole #nomakeupselfie campaign. Yeah yeah, I was pretty much on the “how is this going to cure cancer” bench.

I’ve been a bit of a hater of “Cure Campaigns” until Bald Cartoons.

Legit cartoon artists changing up the likes of famous cartoons – Garfield, Hello Kitty, Popeye, Snoopy – by de-hairing them to make kids with cancer feel just that little bit brighter? Heck yes!

www.baldcartoons.com is a virtual ‘cartoon shavathon’ to spread the message that all children deserve to be seen the same, and I suppose in essence, to help children with cancer not feel so isolated and alone.

The lighthearted approach packs a punch.
